Madagascar, an island located off the coast of Africa, is renowned for its unique and diverse wildlife. The island has been geographically isolated for millions of years, leading to the evolution of a large number of endemic species, meaning they can only be found in Madagascar. Lemurs

Chameleons

Fossas

Another fascinating animal found only in Madagascar is the fossa, which is a large predator closely related to the mongoose. They can be found in the rainforests and are known to prey on lemurs.
