Join GVI’s sister organisation Bushwise for 60 days of living in the African bush – go on game drives, learn about flora and fauna and how to conduct a guided experience. You’ll also learn how to identify different animal tracks and signs and interpret animal behaviour for your guests. Become a qualified CATHSSETA Nature Site Guide (NQF2) and gain additional qualifications to help you excel in the conservation, ecotourism or guiding industries. Welcome to your wild new career!
This course is a condensed version of the Bushwise International Field Guide course. Bushwise is GVI’s sister company, operating in the Lowveld region of South Africa near Kruger National Park. Although it is an accelerated version of our longer course, you will receive the essential knowledge and practical experience needed to become a world-class safari guide.Â
Bushwise has made a name for itself as a leading field guide training provider for CATHSSETA qualifications and beyond. Training is done in Big Five game reserves in the iconic South African Lowveld near Kruger National Park – one of the best wildlife locations in the country.Â
