Your accommodation

Nestle into your home away from home in solar-powered, thatch-roof lodgings stretching across the coastal dunes. Feel the sand between your toes as you stroll along wooden walkways, listen to birds flitting between bushes, and hear the waves crashing just metres from your room.

Accommodation is provided in serviced, single-gender dorm rooms with bunk beds and shared bathroom facilities. There is also a conference room, an equipped laboratory, a kitchen with an in-house cook, communal areas equipped with sofas, TV and limited Wi-Fi, an activities centre and a workshop. The dive centre has a beach-front braai (bbq) area with an amazing view over the park and Flamingo bay, a great spot to enjoy a refreshment, relax and share highlights of the day.

There are four Wi-Fi spots on base, giving you access to WhatsApp and emails. You can also purchase a SIM card (Vodacom network) and top-up credit on the mainland for video calls or streaming. Please note that the internet is generally quite unreliable and you might have the odd day where there is no internet access at all (more time to relish in the beauty of the landscape!) Laundry services are included on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and other days of the week for an additional surcharge.
